QUOTES FROM THE 2009 RIDE SURVEY:

  • “Fantastic event and experience. A true melding of having fun but also doing something good for a sport and a cause we all relate to and care about”
  • “Camaraderie. Arriving at the end each day and getting into the pool (or eating an ice cream or having a cold beer). Proving to myself I could do it. A little bit of friendly competitiveness”
  • “This text box is clearly too small to tell you all the great things about the ride - at the end of the day it is all about the people...the riders, the organisers, the support crew - are all wonderful people - engaging, interesting”
  • ‘Having ex pros riding with the bunch was invaluable. One can always learn more.’
