- Raise awareness among cyclists and motorists of the AGF's objective using appropriate communication strategies and media
- Education of cyclists and motorists
- Conduct, fund or facilitate research to inform and guide the policies and programs of the AGF
- Influence public policy and funding as it relates to the AGF's objective
- Fundraising activities to support the AGF’s programs
Awareness
- Community Service Announcement (TV Commercial) running nationally on Network TEN. Recently screened in selected Val Morgan cinemas nationally.
View CSA Road Users' Code of Conduct- DL brochure distribution via Amy’s Rides, bicycle education programmes; cycling events
- Bike handle bar tag distribution via Pacific Brands into major retail outlets which stock their bicycle brands (from early 2007)
Education
- Partnership with Australian Driver Trainers' Association to support learner drivers' knowledge and skills acquisition about motorists/cyclists interaction - Road-Right
- Partnership with Bicycle Federation of Australia and Cycling Australia to explore national bike education program to complement existing programs or fill gaps where they are none in existence - AustCycle
- Speaking opportunities at schools to promote bike safety
Research
- Partnership with Monash University Accident Research Foundation to offer Safe Family Research Scholarship

- Amy's Rides to be conducted in every state and territory in coming 12-18months
