Position Vacant: AustCycle General Manager

An exciting leadership opportunity developing a national project within a recreation and active lifestyle environment

AustCycle Pty Ltd is a joint venture between the Amy Gillett Foundation, Cycling Australia and other bicycle industry partners designed to deliver a national program of cycle training and bicycle education to people of all ages and abilities.

The General Manager (GM) will play a critical leadership role in positioning the organisation for the future growth and national expansion of AustCycle program elements. Reporting directly to the AustCycle Board, this dynamic and varied role will be involved in the management and delivery of all aspects of AustCycle’s business, marketing and program operations. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a good understanding of the principles of licensing and franchise operations. In keeping with the responsibilities of a GM role they will also have outstanding management, organisational and communication skills.

This is a full-time position for an initial two year contract term with opportunity for growth and expansion. AustCycle currently operates from the Cycling Australia office in Mascot, NSW. AustCycle is a national program and accordingly, the role may involve some interstate travel and non-standard hours of work.

A Salary Package, inclusive of superannuation, in the range of $100k to $120k per year will be offered depending on qualifications and experience.
