Volunteers required for the 2010 UCI World Road Cycling Championships

3rd August 2010

Friends and Supporters of the Amy Gillett Foundation,

Volunteers are required for the 2010 UCI World Road Cycling Championships! Here’s a great opportunity to be involved in the 2010 UCI World Road Cycling Championships in a meaningful way that will provide enduring benefits to the AGF and its safety, education and research programs!

We are very pleased that the AGF will be the benefitting charity for the ‘Ride the Worlds – Geelong’ being held on Sunday October 3rd, the final day of the2010 World Road Cycling Championships. In addition, for the lead up to, and throughout the World Championships we will have a physical presence at all supporting events. There will be a number of locations around the World Championships course at Geelong, and at the official site in the Melbourne CBD that will be located at the City Square on Swanston Street.

Your help is needed:
We require volunteers to assist us in handing out AGF program information at designated AGF marquees at:
·    Geelong (Wednesday 29th September – Sunday 3rd October)
·    Melbourne City Square (Thursday 30th September – Sunday 3rd October) .

Please note: We will be conducting volunteer information sessions each morning to ensure you are all familiar with the key messages that we want to promote.  Further information will be sent to you, along with your official AGF t-shirt and information pack.

Action required:
Please let us know the days you are free to help and which of the two locations you would prefer by August 15th 2010.
