Due to extreme weather conditions in the ACT, the 2021 Big Canberra Bike Ride has been cancelled.
As the proud charity partner for this event, we support the decision to make the safety of all riders a priority and thank everyone who registered to take part in the event.
To our friends in the ACT, please take care of yourselves and each other while on the roads this weekend.
Big Canberra bike ride is back!
The Amy Gillett Foundation is proud to be joining Pedal Power ACT for the Big Canberra Bike Ride as the Official Charity Partner for the incredibly inclusive event that brings together cyclists of all ages and ability.
This event is friendly and promotes safe cycling, giving participants the unique opportunity to cycle on closed roads through the picturesque sites of Canberra.
This Sunday the 21st of March, the AGF will be on site at the Event Hub on the lawns in front of Old Parliament House, with rides commencing from 7:00AM until 3:00PM.
We would love to see as many of our AGF community and supporters out and enjoying the event, with rides ranging from the 6km Big Family Ride to the 120km Big Tidbinbilla Ride.
To secure you and your tribes spot, register now. All participants receive a free medal to commemorate their achievements.
There will also be free entertainment, timing (for the 70km Big Dam Ride and 120km Big Tidbinbilla Ride), aid stations along the routes and road closures to secure cyclist safety.
To show further support, you can set up your own fundraising page, please remember, it doesn’t matter how much you raise as every dollar counts.
Bring your family, bring your friends, and let’s get riding!
