Donate today and help us make bike riding safer in Australia

On behalf of the Board and the Management Team of the Amy Gillett Foundation, I would like to thank you once again for your support over the past 10 years. Thanks to your commitment and generosity, the AGF has been able to achieve great things for cycling safety in Australia.
The majority of Australian states and territories have now taken action to make cyclists safer by implementing minimum overtaking distance (a metre matters) laws. Research shows that in states where a metre matters laws are in place, drivers are giving cyclists more space, and cyclists feel safer as a result. That’s a win in our book. We want all cyclists in Australia to feel safer and be safer, which is why we are continuing to lead the charge to achieve uniform a metre matters laws across the country.
Looking forward, there is still much work to be done. We are eager to continue vital research into road safety, which will help inform law enforcement agencies and legislators. We are also focusing our attention on our education initiatives such as Cycle Safe Communities to help educate the next generation of road users.
As we receive no ongoing government funding, we rely on your support to reach our goals. Please consider making an end of year donation to the Amy Gillett Foundation to ensure that we can continue pushing for a metre matters across Australia, continue our invaluable research into road safety issues, and expand our education initiatives. I also ask that you consider sharing this letter with your family and friends to help broaden our reach and grow support for our important work.
Whether you ride for recreation, health, transport or sport, there is nothing like the excitement and joy of riding your bike. Unfortunately, our roads can often be a tense environment and cycling can be a stressful situation. We work tirelessly to create a safer road environment in Australia, one of mutual respect and responsibility, where cyclists and motorists look out for one another. We want everyone to be able to experience the joy and benefits of cycling in safety. Everyone has the right to get home safely.
Please consider giving $10 for our 10 years of service, but a gift of $50, $100, or $500 will have a significant impact. We are grateful for any amount.
Donations greater than $2 are fully tax deductible.
