Wiggle Amy’s Gran Fondo Energy Boost From High 5 Deal

Bicycle safety charity the Amy Gillett Foundation has welcomed support from sports nutrition company High5 for the Wiggle Amy’s Gran Fondo, on the Great Ocean Road in Victoria on 13 September.
Amy Gillett Foundation CEO Belinda Clark said the High5 sponsorship meant top quality High5 nutrition products would be exclusively available for riders in Wiggle Amy’s Gran Fondo, while also helping the Foundation to fund its bicycle safety initiatives.
“This important contribution from High5 allows the Amy Gillett Foundation to invest even more of the money raised through Wiggle Amy’s Gran Fondo, into bicycle safety programs such as A Metre Matters.” Ms Clark said.
More than 5000 recreational and competitive cyclists are expected to descend on the Colac Otway and Surf Coast region on Sunday 13 September 2015 for the once a year opportunity to ride a fully closed Great Ocean Road.
Wiggle Amy’s Gran Fondo has a strong safety focus and is the only mass participation cycling event in Australia with full road closures.
The 110km Wiggle Amy’s Gran Fondo is a ride that challenges all levels of cyclists, starting with the breathtaking views of the Bass Straight along the Great Ocean Road before embarking on the challenging Otway Ranges and finishing at Benwerrin outside Lorne.
